Why are Shotguns illegal in Monoford if Monoford is located in the USA

Just a general question, out of all my time playing mono. I've never really understood why shotguns are considered class 3 weapons. I could go down to my local gunshop and get one without a license IRL. Yet in game they are treated as military grade weapons.

I think all shotguns should be legal on owned property with a gun license, I don't understand why they count as military grade weapons

facts, just proof that the Europian owners dont trully know American culture and laws as much as they should

pretty sure that it's not a cultural decision but more of a balance decision, but shotguns are so underused it should be reconsidered. I have only used the Serbu shorty once as a civilian in all my time playing, and the m3 is kinda worthless compared to rifles because of the lack of range shotguns tend to have. The KSG is probably the only shotgun that is worth using (and IMO one of the best guns for defending bases with), so if shotguns became legal, the KSG would either be an expectation or changed.

This would help new players defend themselves with minimal MRDM risk as the range is so limited. Good idea.

I wouldn't mind seeing one of the shotguns being legal. Maybe not all of em, I mean for example there's only one legal rifle, but a legal Shotgun would be great for variety and for the weaker shotguns usage.

Both shotguns are a mystery to me as to why they are not legal. Also in my state the KSG is legal without a license lol. That’s an ouch.
