Why did the suggestions forum get removed? Is it coming back?

Why did that forum just get moved to GitHub?

Are there plans to put it back, given this general discussion board is now becoming the suggestions board? There's so many threads in here that are "ideas for thing" or rule change suggestions, that would normally be in that old subforum.

More thought has been put into the new suggestions and bug reports than the forum templates ever had. This has been a good change thus far and we won't be returning any time soon.
