Your Character Name: Greyson Casey
Which Staff issued the Warning Point: @Hop
Reason for the warning point(s): FailRP
Why should the point(s) be removed: My friend and I were both in a police chase. My friend, the driver, had been fleeing for quite some time, and eventually was shot and killed by law enforcement. When the police ran over to our vehicle, I got out and stated that "I was a hostage" and that there was no need to arrest me. They let me go, without any interaction with me other than asking if I was okay. The Police stabilized my friend and he was taken to the hospital, where I killed the officers there, and escaped with my friend.
The FailRP was issued due to us both being in the same org, and stating that I was a hostage. In the sit, Hop mentioned the rule about org members not being able to take each other hostage. I'd heard this rule before, and thought it was more than just stating that I was a Hostage. My friend never put me in zipties, or had a gun, all that happened was that I stated that I was taken hostage so that I wouldn't be arrested when the police came to arrest my friend. [4.1.2] 4 - " Hostages can not be from your own team, group or crew. "
[4.1.2] 6 - " In order to be considered a hostage, the player has to be restrained/zip-tied during the hostage-situation. " I believe that I didn't break the rule [4.1.2] 4 due to there being no hostage situation. All that happened was myself stating that he had taken me hostage, which by [4.1.2] 6 , I wasn't one to begin with. I was not a hostage, I had just stated to police that I was so that I would be let free.
I understand the confusion, and if my word is considered a rule break, than I have learned that [4.1.2] 4 also has to do with false statements.
