Most of you have probably already noticed that I have decided to step down from my Senior Administrator rank and away from Monolith. I no longer have the time to enjoy and help Monolith flourish the way I once did.
I first joined Monolith in the summer of 2017 and it was a blast. I had a love hate relationship with Monolith because I would always play alone and get mugged or raided. If there's one thing Mono has taught me, it's that you need to understand teamwork and make friends. This became more apparent as I entered the staff team. I still remember how I first starting getting into criminal activities, I was fishing out on the docks of Rockford and Natan Wong and his crew came up and mugged me. We talked for what felt like forever after the mugging and became really good friends. That's where my journey with the Wong Family began. After the path that most of my org members went down, I'm sure some of you remember, I wanted to make a commitment to try to prevent that from happening and stop people from choosing the wrong path. That's when I decided to become a staff member a little more than a year ago ( May 2018 ). I would say I have successful achieved this goal and have saved some players from choosing an undesirable path. Ever since then I've had some of my most memorable experiences with Monolith and I will not forget them. So thank you Monolith and the players for all the amazing times.
Some of you may be wondering why I have decided to resign. Recently I graduated in May with my two degrees in Environmental Science and Wildlife and Fisheries. I took a job with the Canadian Wildlife Service as an environmental scientist and I thought I would be able to continue my work with Monolith but I was very wrong. I tried to balance the two out but it didn't work very well, so one had to go. The job requires a large amount of traveling around the country and Monolith would have hindered that so I have decided to let Mono go. I'll come back every now and then to play or post some cool pictures of places I visit.
@Gurrazor, thank you for listening to not just me but the staff team as a whole when decisions were being made. I'd also like to thank you for believing in me and assigning me as Event Team Leader way back in 2018. Some of my most loving memories were with the event team.
This one goes out to you @Realz, I remember when I first applied for staff and you denied it saying how I was a Wong and would never make it as a staff member. Your words were my driving force for the longest time and I have to thank you for that. On discord I still have "Lil Croissant" in my name from the one drunken night where you called me that because I'm french. I miss you a lot.

@Beeza, I wish you didn't go out the way you did but you were an amazing role player and a fun guy to be around. It's sad to see how quickly the Wongs died, hopefully @aaleg02 will carry on our legacy.
@Ice you were the mingest of the mingy but you made Monolith that much more fun. You're never gonna forgive me for banning you for player disrespect when you called @Damon Smith some mean words back on Rockford lol.
@DangerZone640, you may have made some mistakes in the beginning of your time with Monolith and others may not have forgiven you, but I just want you to know that I had faith in you. You were one of the most reformed players I have ever seen. I wish you would have become staff with me.
@Lamb the memories we had together back on Rockford are irreplaceable, I'm gonna miss you.
@Horrendous Gaming, Thank you Tyro for being there for me. Both IC and OOC. I'm gonna miss yelling at you over radio chat not to do something that was against the rules lol.
@Jimmy Veira, no matter how many rules you broke or what you did I was able to reach a different Jimmy that no one had seen before and help push him in the right direction of following the rules. I hope you continue to do good with Monolith even after I am gone.
@Green Gatorade Water Bottle, I'm gonna miss all the memories we made back on Rockford in R10. You were an amazing person to play with.
@Ketamine™ you are an amazing role player. Please keep doing what you do. It's players like you that make the server that much more enjoyable.
@ELIASS, back on Rockford I hated you because you would always steal PD Chief from me but you grew on me. I wish you still played so we could create more memories.
@Hello migo @RX55927R11DEZ @Omega you three are a bunch of clowns. I'm gonna miss y'all. From @Hello migo teaching me how to kidnap people to @RX55927R11DEZ and @Omega teaching me how to do cocaine. You three are some of the funniest people to be around. Please stay out of trouble

@Yeffrey, your work with the Event Team after I stepped down is astonishing. Keep up the good work
@Thomasims you were probably my favorite developer. The stuff you completed may have not been noticeable to the players but thank you
@mclovin you were an amazing person to be around. From role playing as a cop with you to dealing with the rule breakers, you were just so fun to be around.
@SpacedSloth you were by far my favorite admin ever, you really inspired me and most of the staff team during your time with us.
@ The Staff Team, you guys aren't rewarded enough for the work you do. You give up your time on a voluntary service with very little "reward" to gain. A tip from me is, PLEASE DON'T STRESS ABOUT YOUR REPORT COUNT. You have no idea how many times I've said this. There's so much more that goes into being an amazing staff member other than a little number. Get to know the players we serve, hangout with them, and just have fun. There's no point in doing the job if you aren't going at least have fun doing it.
@ The Players you are what makes Monolith, Monolith. There is no other server out there that can compare to what we as a community have created together. Keep doing what you're doing, unless it means rdming lol.
I could keep tagging everyone that has made Monolith such an enjoyable and memorable experience but I think I would hit the character limit so I'm gonna wrap this up.

I never quite understood it until I grew older. This isn't a goodbye Monolith, this is an 'À la prochaine ' (see you again in french )
