Here is a better reference for you. You know how when you are driving and it takes a long time for the car to move when you press the key? That is the latency. Or another example is when you are shooting and it takes a while for the bullet to come out when you shoot. That is because of the Engine Gmod is using. It is not made for such a big map and tons of add-ons. Therefore it creates input lag. Everyone POV is different from your own. You can test this with your friend if you don't believe me.
Test:
You and your friend go to a bridge and jump off at the same time. You will notice that you guys did not jump off at the same time. That is because your friend latency may be longer or shorter than yours.
