I don't really see how, according to the video presented, there is anything wrong with how the opposing party tried to RP the situation. They broke into your home with handguns and saw a single person try to run behind cover with an assault rifle on their back. Why take the chance and get into a gunfight here? Take a look at this situation from the perspective of the other party - maybe they aren't recording, and they are worried about losing their own items during the raid. They break into your home, see somebody who is better armed than they are (though with no immediate access to the weapon, they appear to be fleeing behind cover). It appears that your friend is even able to get behind cover and pull their weapon out. If the opposing party here gave verbal commands with two weapons pointed at your friend, and he still ends up killing them and they have no evidence to present, it's likely they will lose their items as there is only a chance that a staff member would've witnessed the entire situation. This particular situation occurred quickly, and didn't go your way, but that also doesn't mean that a rule change is warranted.
As far as the polling you suggested, Jaffa, I think the map change to Paralake was illustrative of the weakness of polling an exclusive demographic. Many of our players simply aren't active enough on the forums for us to use polling for issues such as the ones you mention in a reliable way that represents the community.
