Tell you what. I think the ban was valid, but probably a bit unnecessary. I will hop back in game and refund you what you lost during that time, as the ban was enough punishment. I will lock the thread until community management reviews it.

Metagaming is talking about ANYTHING IC in ooc. This has been a massive problem for us, so we have started banning people for 1 hour for metagaming in ooc, even small things like this. I will unban you, but it is kind of your fault for putting it in ooc.

This is a known bug, in the future you will not be refunded for it. Avoid it by only queuing one item at a time in the crafting menus.
