Last Updated: 03/02/2024

Table of Content
[0] Terminology
[1] General Rules
[2] Roleplay Rules
[3] Chat & Voice Rules
[4] Criminal Rules
[5] Governmental Rules
Note: Our Global Rules and Terms of Use apply to all our platforms including our game servers and are incorporated into these Server Rules by this reference. However, some of the General Rules listed here overlap slightly with them and should give you a basic understanding of what they outline.

[0] Terminology
  • RP - Roleplay - To act and speak as if you are the character you are portraying. It means to keep your speech in the context of the setting in which your character exists. Context can be defined as both time and place.
  • IC - In-Character - This refers to anything that relates to what and how your character feels and acts. This does not represent what you believe personally.
  • OOC - Out-Of-Character - This refers to representing yourself and your personal opinions and feelings. This may not interfere with IC roleplay.
  • NLR - New-Life-Rule - Your portrayed character can not remember any of the events leading up to, and including, his death.
  • Metagaming - Taking OOC to IC or vice-versa. Example: Bob would be walking down the street when he see a citizen who is an undercover cop. However, he uses the scoreboard to know he’s an undercover cop and avoids him based on using information not known to the character.
  • Meta-Baiting - Using OOC to lure someone IC or vice versa. Example: Bob would say in the OOC chat “Free money at the alleyway!” which two people would walk into and Bob mugging them.
  • Powergaming - Forcing your actions upon someone else without any chance for them to resist it at all, causing you to have an unfair advantage. This can range from a deputy holding you down without counter to a criminal dragging you somewhere. Example: Brad grabs Bob and presses him on the ground; he can't move or do anything as he’d ignore the attempts of Bob resisting.
  • RDM - Random Deathmatch - The process of killing people without valid In-Character reasons.
  • RDA - Random Arrest - The process of arresting people without valid In-Character reasons.
  • VDM - Vehicle Deathmatch - The process of killing people without valid In-Character reasons - just with a vehicle.
  • Fail Driving - The process of having no regard to any roleplay when in a vehicle, be it slamming into most if not all objects purposely. Failure to comply with this will result in punishments of FailRP. This is different from in-character reckless driving which is not prohibited by our rules.
  • FailRP - Actions performed by your character that are not realistic and do not correlate with the setting of the server and your roleplay role.
  • FTVL - Failure To Value Life - The act of not valuing the life of your character, such as running into active shootouts.
  • ERP - Erotic Roleplay - Any role-playing activity performed mostly, or exclusively, for the purpose of sexual behavior.
  • Voiding - Ignoring a specific event and the effects it has made on the roleplay - Mainly executed/called by staff members.
  • Stalling - The act of not following orders (for example: whilst under gunpoint) awaiting a friend or someone else to take action.
  • Kidnapping - to seize and detain or carry away by unlawful force or fraud, and often with a ransom demand.
  • Raid - The act of breaking into or illegally entering a property with the intent to rob, kill, or commit any kind of criminal action to its residents, or any items inside the property.
  • Mugging/Robbery - The act of stealing someone's personal belongings in a public place.
  • Cop Baiting - The act of excessively provoking Law Enforcement for the sole purpose of having them chase you or incite some other reaction from them for your own mere enjoyment.
  • Heist - A heist is an illegal activity involving one of the following places: Bank(s), Cargo Ship, and Jewelry Store.
  • Police Raid - The act of police engaging with any known or unknown occupants of a building, violent or otherwise, with the intention of apprehending or searching for them.

[1] General Rules
  1. Your expected behavior is not limited to the rules below. Use common sense: When in doubt if something you are doing might be against the rules, it could very well be. If you have any doubts, contact a staff member.
  2. This community has respect as a core value; therefore, we ask that you treat everybody with respect and give them a chance to experience the community. Treat those the way you would want to be treated.
  3. Do not take matters into your own hands. The staff is here for a reason. Their decisions are final. Do not disrespect or test their patience. Take it to the appropriate forum board if required.
  4. Slander will not be tolerated within this community; the only place where accusations can be made against other members of the community is within the report forums and when speaking to an appropriate member of staff. When accusing a member of staff, a higher-ranking staff member should be spoken to - that is, if you don't want to submit a staff report in the appropriate forum.
  5. We do not tolerate any malicious or illegal activity on our services. This includes, but is not limited to threatening to Dox or DDoS anyone within the community, to hack a player's account, scam someone of something that has real monetary value, spreading malware, sharing IP addresses, home addresses, phone numbers, names, pictures or email addresses.
  6. We do not tolerate derogatory slurs towards any group of people, such as racism, homophobia, etc., within the community - especially Out-Of-Character. Your in-game character may be offensive to a certain degree HOWEVER, once players feel uncomfortable you have to stop immediately. Be observant and considerate. Things like the N-word and other ethnic slurs are never acceptable - neither Out-Of-Character nor In-Character.
  7. Any form of hacking, abusing, or exploiting to gain an advantage over other players is not allowed. Report accidental exploitation to the respective staff members immediately and refrain from using and sharing those.
    1. Community Management reserves the right to instate cheating infractions based on suspicious activity.
  8. You may not talk about anything sexual in any realm of the game. Roleplay involving any type of sexual intercourse is strictly forbidden. Rape role-play will be punished severely.
  9. You may not spam in any way or form. This includes but is not limited to, in-game chat, voice chat, and in-game commands.
  10. Advertising products or servers not directly affiliated with Monolith Servers is not permitted in any form.
  11. Commercial use of virtual assets in-game is reserved for Monolith Servers alone. You may not trade in-game money for actual real money or vice versa. The one allowed exception is trading a purchase of Premium Membership for in-game value. Scamming for Premium Membership is strictly forbidden - and you will be permanently removed from our platforms because of it. We do not assume any responsibility for such a trade, and items and funds in said transaction may not be returned to their owner.
  12. The usage of any kind of anti-AFK script or external game modification software is not tolerated. Using some form of AI to perform farming, mining, etc. is not allowed. The only exceptions we allow are the usage of the +attack, +left, and +right commands, as long as you're immediately able to respond to in-game actions. If you do not respond to a staff member's attempts to get your attention, you are liable for breaching this rule.
  13. You may not grief, troll, harass, or do other things under the guise of “roleplay” with the intention of annoying other players. For example, becoming a tow driver and only towing/impounding cars of people you don’t like.
  14. Do not bother staff members regarding ban appeals, refund requests, etc. Doing so may result in the ban appeal, refund request, etc. being denied.
  15. You must report a rule breach when it happens/when a role-play situation is over with. While you await a staff member, do not stall the situation, as a staff member will intervene as they see fit.
  16. Do not backseat moderate. If someone is metagaming in OOC, let online staff take care of it; we don't need 15 different people pointing it out every time.

[2] Roleplay Rules
[2.1] General
  1. You must act realistically at all times. You may not run around not roleplaying at all. This includes, but is not limited to, running around on the main roads, jumping on and hitting vehicles. Do note that you will be playing a character.
  2. You must have a proper character name. Offensive names are prohibited.
  3. You may not return to the area where you died for a timespan of 10 minutes (NLR).
    1. You may not return to the area where you died if the situation is still ongoing.
    2. You are required to leave the area you died at immediately if you happen to respawn there.
    3. You must not retain any knowledge from your previous life.
  4. You may not suicide or ‘AFK’ to avoid a roleplay situation.
    1. You may not suicide unless the opposing party agrees.
  5. You may not destroy someone's property without a valid roleplay reason.
  6. You may not grab someone's belongings and hide them or throw them into an area where they can't retrieve it.
  7. You may only use adverts to advertise your business or similar. Think of the advertisements like an advert within the newspapers - keep it realistic. It is not required to advertise a raid, robbery, or something similar to these.
  8. You may not disconnect to avoid a role-play situation. You must contact in-game staff and be granted permission in case you want to leave during an active role-play situation.
  9. You may not remove stolen items or weapons from your inventory and stolen money from your wallet immediately after a robbery, raid, or simple theft, nor may you remove a weapon from your inventory immediately after drawing it or last using it. In all cases, you must wait 10 minutes before doing so.
  10. You are allowed to boost one player at a time to enter an already accessible area.
    1. You may boost players while standing on a vehicle or a non-frozen prop. Stacking props or placing additional props on vehicles is not allowed.
    2. You may not boost into an area that would not be accessible by any other means than boosting.
    3. You may use boosts to hop fences.
    4. You may use boosts to shoot at other players.
  11. In-character scamming other players of in-game items are limited to either $50,000 dollars in cash or items equivalent to $50,000. You may only scam someone for either the money or items, not both. Scamming regarding membership to organizations is not allowed under any circumstances.
    (A) - A loan made by two or more parties regardless of the value is not covered by the rule above, and Monolith Servers does not assume responsibility to punish or get involved in any scam related to a loan unless other rules are being broken in the process (harassment, malicious behavior, etc). If you are loaning to someone, you should be trusting them.
[2.2] Player versus Player
  1. You may not kill or knock out players without a valid In-Character reason.
  2. Vehicle Deathmatch is not allowed without a proper reason. You may use your vehicle as a weapon if you or a fellow organization/party member's life is in immediate danger.
  3. Attacking to kill should be carried out sensibly under any circumstances, including in gang zones, and not as a first resort unless you have a good reason for immediate lethal action.
  4. Reasons for killing another player last until your character dies (NLR), you become aware that the other party has died (NLR), or until 20 minutes have passed since the cause of the reason occurred. You must also re-initiate the roleplay scenario in order to act on your reason.
  5. During a PvP situation, such as muggings and raids, etc., you may not kill surrendered parties simply for speaking a few words, unless they are actively yelling for help, trying to attract attention, insulting or threatening you.
  6. You may not kill a Law Enforcement Officer unless you have a valid roleplay reason to do so. Killing Law Enforcement Officers should always be a last resort when all other options are not available or have already been exhausted.
  7. You may not shoot or harm Law Enforcement Officers, in order to help other players, unless they are in the same organization or party as you.
  8. You may not harm a Law Enforcement Officer for writing you, your friends or organization/party members a ticket. In addition, you may not harm a Law Enforcement Officer for previously arresting you and/or confiscating items from your inventory.
  9. You may not harm a Tow Truck Driver for towing or impounding you, your friend's or organization/party member's vehicle. In addition, you may not harm a Tow Truck Driver for previously towing or impounding you or an organization/party member's vehicle.
  10. You may not enter an instanced property (apartment/garage) if you are being actively chased by an opposing party, nor may you hide in an instanced property if an opposing party is searching for you. If in doubt, don't enter.
  11. Law Enforcement may only be harmed if they are a direct threat to you. Passing by officers and deputies, such as those obeying NLR, may not be harmed unless they initiate on you.
  12. You may not loot a corpse during a gunfight if you are not directly involved in that situation.
    1. Law Enforcement Officers are eligible to confiscate illegal belongings of these corpses.
  13. You are required to give the opposing party a reasonable amount of time to respond and act upon your commands and must make sure they heard you. Keep the voice-chat delay in mind.
[2.3] Metagaming/Powergaming
  1. Metagaming is not allowed. Any kind of information you gain via OOC may not be used IC. Any IC information may not be provided in OOC.
    1. This excludes helping out new players in OOC asking specific questions for their start.
  2. Meta-baiting is not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, using OOC to lure someone to a certain location.
  3. Powergaming, forcing your actions upon someone else without any chance for them to resist it, is not allowed (e.g. /me gags Daniel, /me breaks the suspect’s leg)

[2.4] Base Building
  1. You may not use one-sided see-through or indestructible props for defensive measures.
  2. You must support your props accordingly and not go against the law of physics.
  3. You may only build props on your own property.
  4. You may not use props to get from your property to another property/otherwise unreachable area.
  5. You must not disrupt/direct player movement in a building. Do not build a 'maze' like defense.
  6. You may not block off any entrances/exits to your building. All entrances need to be accessible at all times.
  7. You may not build unfair defenses. Both parties (attacking and defending) need to be able to look down the barrels of each other's weapons. Unfair defenses include defenses where the attacking party is unable to shoot the defending party without crouching, but the defending party is able to shoot them right away.
  8. You cannot use factory equipment or other indestructible props for base defense purposes.
[2.5] FailRP
  1. You must abide by realistic roleplay measures. If something you are doing is illogical in a real life situation, then you can’t do it on the server.
  2. You may not continuously spam “E” on a door to prevent someone from breaking in.
  3. You may not jump into a vehicle while handcuffed unless another person in or around said vehicle does a /me of opening the door for you. This rule does not apply to being forced into a police car by a Law Enforcement Officer.
  4. You may not cop bait - the act of excessively provoking Law Enforcement for the sole purpose of having them chase you or incite some other reaction from them for your own mere enjoyment.
  5. You can't jump into any body of water to escape an opponent while restrained.

[3] Chat & Voice Rules
  1. You may not use voice chat for OOC communication if it in any way impedes or disturbs ongoing roleplay.
  2. Do not break character, stay in character at all times unless you are in an administrative situation.
  3. Do not complain about players in OOC chat, report them to the administration with as much information as possible using the !report command.
  4. You are not allowed to play music through voice chat or use a voice changer.
  5. Under ordinary circumstances, you must speak English as your main method of communication. However, on private property, you may speak a language which you prefer.

[4] Criminal Rules

Criminal rules are not limited to illegal activities, this is merely a term.

[4.1] Mugging, Kidnapping, and Robbing
[4.1.1] Mugging

  1. You must wait out a 30-minute delay to do another mugging after your previous attempt that was either successful or unsuccessful. Any person in your party partaking in the mugging is also affected by this cooldown.
  2. All drop-on-death items can be mugged from a player regardless of legality status: including but not limited to Electric Stoves, Kevlar, and medical supplies.
  3. No more than $20,000 in cash can be mugged from a player in a robbery. You cannot force somebody to withdraw money from their bank account and give it to you. As the victim, you have to drop all your money up to $20,000 maximum.
  4. You may not kill somebody for not giving out your requested amount of money if he does not have enough on him.
  5. If you are caught by police, and or arrested, any money that you gained from a hostage/kidnapping situation or robbery, MUST be returned on request of the officers.
  6. You may not mug someone while they are near an NPC or Premium Box.
[4.1.2] Kidnapping
  1. You must wait out a 30-minute delay to perform another kidnapping after your previous attempt that was either successful or unsuccessful. Any person in your party partaking in the mugging is also affected by this cooldown.
  2. You may take a maximum of 4 hostages in hostage situations.
  3. You may not kidnap someone for longer than 20 minutes unless there is an active negotiation with Law Enforcement. Staff members have the right to change this time as they see fit.
  4. You may not ask for more than $10,000 for each hostage during a hostage situation.
  5. Hostages can not be from your own team, group, or organization/party. Also, they may not be awarded any funds acquired in the situation they were taken hostage in.
  6. Hostage takers cannot end negotiations if the Police Department is complying with their demands, as long as such demands are allowed by the rules.
  7. You may not kidnap someone while they are near an NPC or Premium Box.
[4.1.3] Robbing
  1. You may perform a raid or heist with no more than 8 people in total, at any given time, regardless if they are outside or inside the building. This excludes hostages.
    1. Active participants need to stay within property bounds of the property that's being targeted and may engage in combat.
    2. Passive participants (such as informants) may stay outside the property that's being targeted, but may not engage in combat.
    3. Both active and passive participants count to the maximum number of robbers.
  2. You may not rob someone for the keys to their vehicle or property. You may however force them to unlock their vehicle or property at gunpoint.
  3. You may not rob the gas station with more than 4 people in total; at any given time - regardless if they are outside or inside the building.
[4.2] Criminal Raiding Rules
  1. You may only perform one raid/heist (this counts for both ownable, un-ownable, and government/public buildings) every 30 minutes. This counts for both successful and unsuccessful situations. Survivors of a raid may ignore the "raid cooldown" if they decide to free organization/party members from police custody or retrieve lost gear from the Police Department.
  2. You may not participate in a criminal raid or heist if you are a government employee.
  3. Upon completion of a raid or heist, you are not allowed to wait until something of value is obtainable.
    1. I.E. You are not allowed to ‘double hit’ the bank by waiting for the cooldown to reset.
    2. I.E. You are not allowed to wait until weed is done growing so you can harvest it before leaving.
  4. You may not lock your doors after they were lock-picked by criminals or forced open by law enforcement. Accept the fact that the locks of your doors are temporarily broken until the situation concludes.
  5. During a police raid, only the current occupants of the base are allowed to defend the base. To be clear: If you are not in the base at the start of the police raid, you can not actively intervene at all.
  6. Prop placement during a raid, heist, or gunfight is strictly forbidden. Law Enforcement is exempt from this rule as long as it’s done to set a perimeter.
  7. Counter raids can be performed on any building unless law enforcement is already on scene.
  8. During a police raid, the defending party of a raid is required to stay within their property limits, unless their intention is to flee and hide from law enforcement.
  9. The Third-Person view inside vehicles may not be utilized to gain an unfair advantage over other players. Gathering information about defense setup and people’s positions is prohibited.
  10. You may not perform hostage situations nor hide or barricade yourself for defense purposes in spawn areas, including the casino, hospitals, and church.
[4.3] Organizations
  1. Crew names must be reasonable and can't suggest or contain any racial, sensitive topics or profound words. Examples such as "Isis", "Meme Lords", and "Nazi" are unacceptable. This is up to staff discretion.
  2. You may not kill other players just because you are in an organization. Being in an organization does not give you a valid roleplay reason to kill.
  3. You may not declare war over ridiculous situations such as a car accident. War is declared when both sides engage in an actual feud regarding drugs, weapons or territory.
  4. During a war between two opposing organizations, both sides must still abide by ordinary roleplay roles such as RDM, as war is not a reason to kill.
  5. You may partake in criminal activity with only members of your organization or your party. This includes mugging, raiding, heists, and other miscellaneous criminal activities not already listed.
  6. When you are in an active party, this will override your involvement with your organization. These two groups must be exclusive from each other, and cannot assist each other.

[5] Governmental Rules
[5.1] General
  1. You must abide by traffic laws regardless of your position. During emergency situations, you may bypass traffic laws when required, only when utilizing either emergency lighting or sirens. You must still drive in a safe manner.
  2. You may not partake in any illegal activity. Detectives are exempt from this rule.
  3. You may not participate in the running or owning of a business establishment, such as a shop, while on duty.
  4. Corruption is allowed with permission from a Senior Administrator or above. The permissions are automatically void when the authorizing staff member leaves the server.
  5. Civilian Tow Truck drivers are not permitted to tow vehicles unless requested by either the owner of the vehicle or the police to do so.
[5.2] Law Enforcement
[5.2.1] General Law Enforcement Rules

  1. Law Enforcement may only use deadly force when the situation requires the protection of themselves or others. For example, if a person is threatening your life, you may use your weapon in self-defense.
  2. All members of the Monoford Police Department or Pine County Sheriff's Office are required to follow the Monolith State Law Enforcement Policy Manual. Failure to follow this is considered corruption.
  3. Upon coming in contact with a member of the public regarding a legal concern, the Officer initiating the contact must identify themself by name and which department they are affiliated with.
[5.2.2] SWAT Rules

[5.2.3] Law Enforcement Raid Rules
  1. To perform a police raid, you must gather video or picture evidence to prove that there is illegal activity going on at that specific property. 911 calls can not be used as evidence to raid a property.
    1. Law Enforcement is exempt from this rule if their life or the life of others are in danger (ex: Being shot at or threatened with a deadly weapon, or a suspect they are actively chasing enters a property during the chase). If either of these situations occurs, they can immediately raid the property.
    2. Administrative reports regarding false police raids must be made before the end of the police raid, or the report will be closed, and the situation will be considered handled in character.
  2. As Law Enforcement, once you have performed a raid, regardless of whether or not the raid was successful, you cannot raid the same property again, unless you meet the rule requirements that permit law enforcement to raid a property.
[5.2.4] Police Detective Rules
  1. The detective is an undercover Law Enforcement Officer and may perform normal police duties. He's required to ID himself to Law Enforcement Officers when requested. Refusal of identification is not an option.
  2. Detectives are allowed to perform certain illegal activities such as growing and doing illegal substances with other people as long as they immediately report these to the police to bust them. You may also perform in raids with permission from Lieutenants or above. During these activities, you have to assist the police officers to catch the criminals. The detective can not be charged for performing these illegal activities.
  3. Detectives may not bait people into committing crimes. Civilians need to commit crimes on their own initiative.
[5.2.5] Department of Corrections
  1. Corrections cadets, officers, and warden's jurisdiction only covers the Penitentiary and the road leading to it. Cadets and officers need to remain inside the specified area, unless they are chasing prisoners escaping from prison.
  2. Corrections cadets and officers cannot release prisoners without permission from at least two of the following people: Mayor, Chief, or Warden. A prisoner cannot be released without a proper reason.
[5.3] Mayor
  1. As the Mayor, you represent the city, but, with the approval of staff, can accept bribes, and engage in the overseeing of certain illegal operations but can not actually engage in any criminal activities, only observe it. This includes growing weed or creating drugs.
  2. As the Mayor, you may not create unrealistic laws. A staff member will request that you revoke a law if they believe it is unrealistic.
  3. As the Mayor, you may not overrule a permanent law. Permanent laws are the laws that are already set whilst there are no active laws, and they are shown above your custom laws.
  4. As the Mayor, you may not carry any illegal weaponry. You are allowed to own a handgun. You are only allowed to carry it and use it if you are in danger.
  5. As the Mayor, you are not above the law and are liable for arrests and tickets like any other citizen.
[5.4] Emergency Services
[5.4.1] Emergency Services General Rules

  1. As a Medic, you are not allowed to be open-for-hire to be a combat medic, meaning you can not specifically assist organizations with medical supplies and medical assistance.
  2. As a Firefighter, you are not allowed to be for-hire to put out fires specifically for people's drug sets.
  3. You may not carry any weapons. If you are in danger, call the Police Department or Sheriff's Department.
  4. You may not heal another player who is actively in combat with others. You must wait until the combat is over.
  5. You must wait until the active RP situation is over to enter the scene and administer life-saving measures.
[5.5] Secret Service
  1. As a Secret Service agent, you do not share the same responsibilities, nor do you have the same jurisdiction as the Police Department or Sheriff's Department. You may therefore not perform police duties.
  2. Your role as a Secret Service employee is to protect the mayor; therefore, you may not put yourself up for hire while employed.
  3. As a Secret Service agent, you are not above the law. You are liable for arrests and tickets like any other citizen.

Rewritten rule 4.06:

Do not jump into strangers' freshly spawned cars as that would be considered FailRP, give them enough time to take their own vehicle.

Added rule 4.20:

The zipties can not be used to confiscate items from a player without their consent, this includes but is not limited to, communication devices and weaponry. The identity hiding mask however can be taken off from a player.

You do no longer require a reason to raid somebody. However, the punishment for raiding someone hasn't been changed.

Update: 17.06.2017
Since we have moved forums, we've had an issue with our rule list as the format of our rules list. I have also renumbered some, as you probably know some rules had letters like Rule: 5.1.a - this will be changed to 5.1.1 etc.

Added:

Additional Bank Robbery rules added to 4. Criminal Rules
23. You may not rob the bank with more than 4 people. This means only 4 people can participate in a bank robbery in total.
24. A maximum of only 2 hostages may be taken during a bank robbery. Hostages may not be killed unless the police ignored the demands of the robbers. Hostages may not be awarded any money from the bank robbery.
25. Hostages can not be from your own team, group or organization as this will count as FailRP.

General Rule regarding Robberies added to 4. Criminal Rules
26. During a robbery or something similar you may not put your weapon into your inventory to prevent loss. Deal with it - you are robbing someone or something.

Update: 22.06.2017
7. The mayor is not above the law and is liable for arrests and tickets like any other citizen.
[5] Security Agents

  2. You may only protect the mayor. You may therefore not put yourself up for hire.
  3. You may not carry your weapon in public unless the mayor is in danger. Potential danger does not count.
  4. As a security agent and/or mayor you may not continuously drive around with your lights on and disobey traffic laws.
  5. As a security agent you are not above the law. You are liable for arrests and tickets like and other citizen.
  6. You may not assist the police department. This includes but is not limited to performing traffic stops, shootings and bank robberies. Report crimes to the police department accordingly.

Changelog 28.06.2017 - Stuvi
Changed Rearranged a couple of rules
Added Sections General - Mugging, Kidnapping and Robbing to [4] Criminal Rules
Added 4.1.3.1 'Carrying' is classified as having them equipped. Weapons stored in your inventory aren't classified as 'carrying' unless you performed an illegal act with them. Illegal acts include, but are not limited to, robberies, muggings and general shoot-outs.
Added 4.1.3.2 All weapons, except handguns, are automatically classified as illegal and can not be made illegal with a weapon license. A weapon license grants you the right to carry (= definition see 3.1) a weapon.
Added 4.2.2.1 You can not kill somebody for not giving out your requested amount of money if he does not have enough on him.
Moved 4.2.2.2 No more than $10,000 in cash can be mugged from another player in any robbery.
Added 4.2.2.3 As the victim you have to drop all your money (or at least make them think it is all your money) up to 10.000$ maximum.
Changed 4.2.7 You can only kidnap someone once every 45 minutes.
Added 4.2.8 During a hostage situation you may not ask for more than 5.000$ for each hostage.
Changed 4.2.15 During a mugging, you may also take; weapons, weed, LSD and any other illegal items from their inventory; regardless if it is equipped. This is limited to either max. two items (incl. weapons) in their inventory, max. two stacks of their inventory (excl. weapons) or one item and one stack in their inventory.
Changed 5.1.3 A bank robbery does not count as a raid. However, you may only rob the bank once every 60 minutes. This limit continues during a server crash.
Changed 8.2.13 You can not take any weapon from a persons inventory without a valid reason. You may take weapons that were used in a robbery or something similar from the suspect.

Rules will be enforced from now on. Rule suggestions can be sent to me via forum PM.

Update: 05.07.2017

If you have been tased do not instantly run off. Act realistically by crouching on the floor.
Added: 8.2.14 Do not abuse the taser; do not use it in a gunfight and do not tase people randomly.
Added: 2.26 You must not disrupt/direct player movement in a building, do not build a 'maze' like defence, this is discretional by an administrator, however, can be over-ruled by a higher up.
Added: 2.27 You must not block off any entrances/exits to your building.
