From a role play perspective I do not agree with that. In real life you get the squad car that is issued to you, and you deal with it. Some departments allow you to add extra lights but many don't. Consistency is key!
As a thank you to all of the premium members, with each ''consecutive'' month of subscription, these members would earn a sort of monlthy XP. This XP would be gathered like so:
How it works
Second month - 25 XP
Third month - 35 XP
Fourth month - 40 XP
This XP fills up and becomes 100. Once your XP reaches 100, you get 1 free month of premium.
Fifth month - Free
Sixth month - 25 XP + prize
(the rest would continue as shown above)
Prizes / achievements
On the sixth month, you would get a special prize, or achievement for reaching your sixth consecutive month of subscription.
You would get a prize the month after getting a free month. In the example above it would be the sixth month. In the example below, it would be the fifth month.
Canceling your subscription
If you for example decide to cancel your subscription at your third month, the XP would remain, and start again from the second month, leaving you with 85 XP, then continuing onto your third month this would add 35 XP and you would now have 120 XP. This means you would no longer have to reach your fourth month to get a free month, you would then have 1 free month as well as 20 XP left. The following fifth month would then give you 40 XP + the 20 XP you already had, which means you now have 60 XP. The next month would give you 25 XP, and the process would keep going.
This was just an idea, and any opinions about this are completely welcome.
I think booster packs would contain things like the life alert, ammo, kevlar, health packs, lockpicks, zipties, etc. Basic equipment as an added bonus. Nothing to give a dramatic edge over non-premium.
A lot of people suggesting things like guns and such, but honestly, speaking as a new premium member I think that premium has too many game advantages. Sure, stuff like extra bank and unique looks is good, but bonus exp and money gets into the Pay-To-Win territory that if this were any other server, I'd actively avoid.
An acceptable balance to this would be to make premium or premium features also accessible by complex, dedicated gameplay, or large in-game cash sums.
Good advantages: Technical changes and appearances
Bad changes: Things that make it harder for non-premium members to compete
