Detectives can only perform traffic stops and participate in pursuits in fully equipped police vehicles (emergency lights & sirens). If driving another type of vehicle they may only engage in a pursuit if no other units are available, and should pull back as soon as uniformed units arrive.
Removed due to magnetic lights being a thing.
An alternative rule may be added later

Updated rule 2.2.17 for clarity. The meaning of the rule has not changed.
You may not harm or attack a public passiveRP situation, unless it endangers your life or you have IC or OOC knowledge of illegal activity being conducted by the participants. These situations include, and are not limited, to: public player owned stores (open for business), car rallies, carnivals and markets.

4.2.6 rewritten for clarity.
Players can only raid the Town Hall if the mayor has an approval rating below 30% or proven to be corrupt. Once their goal is achieved, they must flee. They may not stick around.

You may not enter an instanced property (apartment/garage) if you are being actively chased by an opposing party, nor may you hide in instanced property if an opposing party is searching for you. If in doubt, don't enter

[CHANGED] [2.4.5] FearRP only applies for vehicles if the driver is placed at gunpoint by two players, with at least one player at the driver-side window. Any other instance does not constitute FearRP for the driver, and the driver and the vehicles passengers may flee.

[CHANGED] [4.2.11] Counter raids can only be performed on player owned buildings or on the Cargo Ship. You may not counter raid a government building or a player owned building/Cargo Ship if it is currently being raided by police at the time. Law Enforcement is exempt from this entire rule.

You may not gain access to the bank vault by any other means than using a legitimately acquired keycard.

  1. Active participants need to stay within property bounds of the property that's being robbed and may engage in combat.
  2. Passive participants (such as informants) may stay outside the property that's being robbed but may not engage in combat.
  3. Both, active and passive participants, count to the maximum amount of robbers.

You can't jump into any bodies of water to escape an opponent while restrained.

[CHANGED] [2.1.9] You may not remove stolen items or weapons from your inventory and stolen money from your wallet immediately after a robbery, raid, or simple theft, nor may you remove a weapon out of your inventory immediately after drawing it or last using it. In all cases, you must wait 10 minutes before doing so.

This change is to prevent any abuse by trying to sell or trade stolen items/recently used weapons, in order to circunvent the rule.

This is temporary and it is simply a clarification of the current exploiting rule, which already covers this scenario as well. The reason we added it is so that we are all on the same page, since this didn't use to be enforced before. The rule will be removed once a game mechanic replaces it.

[ADDED] Heist - A heist is an illegal activity involving one of the following places: Bank(s), Cargo Ship and Jewelry Store.

[ADDED] Police Raid - The act of police engaging with any known or unknown occupants of a building, violent or otherwise, with the intention of apprehending or searching for them.

[CHANGED] [5.4.2.3] Detectives may not bait people into committing crimes. Civilians need to commit crimes on their own initiative.

[CHANGED] [4.2.5] You may not lock your doors after they were lock-picked by criminals or forced open by the law enforcement. Accept the fact that the locks of your doors are temporarily broken, until the situation concludes.

Rule 2.5.7 updated.

  • You may not build unfair defences. Both parties (attacking and defending) need to be able to look down the barrels of each others weapons. Unfair defences include defences where the attacking party is unable to shoot the defending party without crouching, but the defending party being able to shoot them right away.

ADDITION TO 2.1.12 (A) - A loan made by two or more parties regardless of value is not covered by the rule above, and Monolith Servers does not assume responsibility to punish or get involved in any scam related to a loan unless other rules are being broken in the process (harassment, malicious behavior, etc). If you are loaning to someone, you should be trusting them.

- Commercial use of virtual assets in-game is reserved to Monolith Servers alone. You may therefore not trade in-game money for actual real money or vice versa. The one allowed exception is trading a purchase of Premium Membership for in-game value. We do however not recommend such a trade since there is a risk that you may get scammed. We do not assume any responsibility for such a trade with another player.
